Vartofta's Torbjörn Tunander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Vartofta from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Hermansson in the 8th minute of play forced Vartofta's goalkeeper Torbjörn Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sjunkande Båten's Karl Hylander got a free kick in the 9th minute. Evert Söder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zebastian Stålberg in the 14th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, Vartofta's Gustaf Biörk made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evert Söder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evert Söder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zebastian Stålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Christer Vinström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mikael Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Viktor Magnusson took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Torbjörn Tunander to make any attempt to save it. After 33 minutes of play, Vartofta's Folke Zander made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evert Söder was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Sjunkande Båten's Peter Gummeson got a free kick in the 36th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

If Mikael Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torbjörn Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Magnusson in the 56th minute of play. Evert Söder was a little too slow when Zebastian Stålberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-3. 63 minutes into the match, Sjunkande Båten's goal looked a bit too open when Zebastian Stålberg came free, but Evert Söder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Sjunkande Båten's Evert Söder got control of the ball when Gustaf Biörk tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Sjunkande Båten's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Folke Zander fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Evert Söder was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Zebastian Stålberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zebastian Stålberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. 74 minutes into the game, Vartofta's Folke Zander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evert Söder made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The supporters of Sjunkande Båten booed when Vartofta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Levander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes Vartofta got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Biörk. In the 88th minute, Gustaf Biörk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torbjörn Tunander didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sjunkande Båten's Viktor Magnusson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Vartofta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
