The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmy Aleberg during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tobias Skarkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Salbohed BK's Ingemar Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingemar Svensson in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Claes Gregersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viggo Jakobsson in the 42nd minute of play. Vellinge's Claes Gregersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Jakobsson in the 46th minute of play. After 48 minutes, Fredrik Nordstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vellinge and the Salbohed BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viggo Jakobsson was the one to do the kick off. When Ivar Eskilsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bo-Erik Lund was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Richard Boberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo-Erik Lund having to interfere. Claes Gregersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Svensson in the 83rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Salbohed BK had played much better football throughout.
