The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilhelm Kvist got free with Frans Trulsson in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute, Elakålarna FF's Christian Siggman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gottfrid Boman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 38 played minutes Venjan BK got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Walroth. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oskar Bolin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the last second Gottfrid Boman throw himself and got hold of the ball when Oskar Bolin in the 51stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 95th minute, Oskar Bolin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gottfrid Boman. The goal made the score 3-3. Venjan BK were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
