An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Alin in the 3rd minute of play forced Stocksund's goalkeeper Jan-Olof Nordlander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Ingvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Sundström in the 5th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Stocksund's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jens-Ola Kielberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 19 minutes, Alf Hultin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stocksund and the ZØMßIES players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alf Hultin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Max Alin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ola Kielberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ZØMßIES booed when Stocksund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Mossberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Olof Nordlander made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Jens-Ola Kielberg sent off a good shot on target. Herbert Stor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute of the match Edward Kruse sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Ingvall skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Roger Ingvall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleksander Bjurström, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Hans Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Stocksund's Aleksander Bjurström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Ingvall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ZØMßIES's Roger Ingvall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save ZØMßIES from getting a goal against them. Roger Ingvall was a little too slow when Aleksander Bjurström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Jens-Ola Kielberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jan-Olof Nordlander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes ZØMßIES got a freekick which was hit by Joacim Albäck. Ulrik Östensson kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Jens-Ola Kielberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jens-Ola Kielberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Hans Sundström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roger Ingvall. ZØMßIES's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Ola Kielberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Olof Nordlander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Stocksund eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
