The supporters of Telge Boys booed when Brännö IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Örtlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vidar Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf Kellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Kaj Kellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Brännö IFK. Aron Thidén stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kaj Kellbom. 0-1. If Wictor Nyqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jan-Olof Widberg fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brännö IFK's protests and gave Jan-Olof Widberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Brännö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Widberg to maneuver through the defense. If Vidar Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wictor Nyqvist kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 29thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Brännö IFK's keeper Fred Öberg was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After a defensive mix-up in Telge Boys's zone, Rudolf Kellbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaj Kellbom came out of the goal and Rudolf Kellbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vidar Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Öberg having to interfere. Fred Öberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vidar Åkesson's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Vidar Åkesson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fred Öberg having to make a save. Wictor Nyqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fred Öberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Brännö IFK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vidar Åkesson was the one to do the kick off. Kaj Kellbom was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rudolf Kellbom showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valter Örtlund during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Valter Örtlund hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Rudolf Kellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Kaj Kellbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vidar Åkesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fred Öberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Åkesson in the 84th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Brännö IFK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
