Spectators: 6683 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 11th minute, Joakim Vibjörnsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolf Västlund. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 15th minute, Anders Nordstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stig-Ove Martinsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37thth minute of the game Stig-Arne Bergren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Gamla Magikerna's Rolf Västlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th match minute, Falkenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Falkenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Malcolm Söderberg came free, but Nils-Erik Stenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Falkenberg's Joakim Vibjörnsson got a free kick in the 46th minute. Stig-Ove Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nils-Erik Stenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Malcolm Söderberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Bergren in the 60th minute of play forced De Gamla Magikerna's goalkeeper Rolf Västlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes De Gamla Magikerna got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Majman. When Joakim Vibjörnsson fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Falkenberg's protests and gave Joakim Vibjörnsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of De Gamla Magikerna booed when Falkenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Vibjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolf Västlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Vibjörnsson in the 69th minute of play. After 70 minutes, Karl-Johan Ahlkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Gamla Magikerna and the Falkenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, De Gamla Magikerna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Ahlkvist to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, De Gamla Magikerna's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Kellbom came free, but Rolf Västlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gottfrid Damm took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolf Västlund. Rolf Västlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. With a little luck, Falkenberg's Nils-Erik Stenberg got control of the ball when Malcolm Söderberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolf Västlund came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Falkenberg's Anders Nordstedt. But to his dismay, Anders Nordstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. De Gamla Magikerna's Stig-Ove Martinsson got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the De Gamla Magikerna players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Falkenberg.
