The supporters of Jämjö BF booed when Södra Vi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Kjellkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils Billock struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jarl Drake didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jämjö BF. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Magne Hallgren made the kick off in the second half. Ulf Nord could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Leif Hermansson made a huge save. When Ulf Nord came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Södra Vi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Nord couldn't finish the play. Ulf Nord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Jämjö BF getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fritz Hellsing hit a great ball. Charlie Strömberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joacim Soned kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Jarl Drake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Rolfsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jämjö BF's Leif Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magne Hallgren in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Jämjö BF's Einar Rolfsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarl Drake narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Einar Rolfsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Charlie Strömberg took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarl Drake. Jarl Drake dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Fritz Hellsing kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jämjö BF's zone, Ulf Nord stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Hermansson came out of the goal and Ulf Nord tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Magne Hallgren came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Södra Vi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magne Hallgren couldn't finish the play. Södra Vi's Jarl Drake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Strömberg in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jämjö BF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Södra Vi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
