After 15 minutes Kullavik RK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mattias Gudmundsson who took care of the corner kick. After 16 played minutes Kullavik RK got a freekick which was hit by Nicklas Hermansson. In the 18th minute, Rune Ström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fredrik Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Kullavik RK's goalkeeper Sten Lindgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andy Wiman. Andy Wiman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Sten Lindgren made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicklas Hermansson in the 34th minute of play forced Ballingslöv BK's goalkeeper Gilbert Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilbert Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicklas Hermansson in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Nicklas Hermansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Vincent Kihlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kullavik RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent Kihlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert Bergström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The referee ignored Ballingslöv BK's protests and gave Sture Östlund a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes, Kullavik RK's Gustaf Ahlén got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gilbert Bergström. Kullavik RK's Sten Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Jonsson in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Nicklas Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kullavik RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicklas Hermansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
