Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Johannes Wenerdahl kicked off to start the match. Leonardo Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Hellström having to interfere. If Leonardo Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Sala IF's goalkeeper Benjamin Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Hellström. In the 21st minute, Johannes Wenerdahl fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benjamin Hellström, passed just outside the right post. Johannes Wenerdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Hellström having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Svensson in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Åke Mogren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Sala IF's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Wenerdahl came free, but Benjamin Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sala IF's Benjamin Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Wenerdahl in the 38th minute of play. After 39 played minutes, Sala IF's Bo-Erik Berg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Per-Åke Mogren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sala IF reached it. In the 40th minute, André Hansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Benjamin Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Varnhem's zone, Tomas Söderberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Åke Mogren came out of the goal and Tomas Söderberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Söderberg in the 46th minute of play forced Varnhem's goalkeeper Per-Åke Mogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Svensson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Wenerdahl in the 56th minute of play forced Sala IF's goalkeeper Benjamin Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Alf Björklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Sala IF's Leonard Öfverman tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Varnhem's André Hansson got a free kick in the 64th minute. Per-Åke Mogren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Varnhem's Leonardo Hellström in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sala IF's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Sala IF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Harry Beck hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Johannes Granström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sala IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varnhem the free kick. In the 71st match minute, Sala IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Granström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Hellström in the 72nd minute of play forced Sala IF's goalkeeper Benjamin Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Wenerdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Hellström having to interfere. Leonardo Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Hellström having to interfere. Per-Åke Mogren made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Tomas Söderberg sent off a good shot on target. Per-Åke Mogren came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sala IF's Tomas Söderberg. But to his dismay, Tomas Söderberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 92 minutes into the match, Sala IF's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Wenerdahl came free, but Benjamin Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
