Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Markus Bocklund in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Grönberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 minutes, Erik Myhr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Täby and the Kimstad players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Erik Myhr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ted Snäll managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kimstad's supporters rose to their feet, but Ted Snäll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Grönberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emil Grönberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Erik Qvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rune Boberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Björling, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Gilbert Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Börje Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Per-Erik Qvarnström put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Emil Grönberg. Kimstad's Per-Erik Qvarnström got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Börje Nyman hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After the first half Kimstad were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rolf Björling stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Kimstad defense, Åke Persson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Boberg. The Kimstad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Boberg should have stopped the shot. Börje Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Grönberg having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Markus Bocklund could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Emil Grönberg however easily saved by the left post. Börje Nyman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Grönberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Björk in the 69th minute of play forced Täby's goalkeeper Emil Grönberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Börje Nyman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kimstad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Nyman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Åke Persson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Täby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kimstad the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Kimstad's Börje Nyman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emil Grönberg. That made the score 1-3 after 79 minutes of play. When %teams%'s Per-Erik Qvarnström was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-4 just inside the left pole, 89 minutes into the game. Emil Grönberg was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. 97 minutes into the game, Per-Erik Qvarnström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Emil Grönberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kimstad's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
