The referee ignored Lokomotiv Kiev's protests and gave Åke Grönlund a yellow card for diving instead. August Hedman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Anton Vassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell Aspengren hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Marc Apelquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Valentin Ekeberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Ivar Enström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glemmingebro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Anton Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Enström in the 24th minute of the match. August Hedman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mattias Häger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute of the match Lokomotiv Kiev got a corner. Glemmingebro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Isaac Lövkvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Lokomotiv Kiev players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Glemmingebro were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elof Fristedt to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Ivar Enström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anton Vassenius. That made the score 0-2 in the 57 minute of play. Anton Vassenius was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ivar Enström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. A collision led to Glemmingebro getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Marc Apelquist hit a great ball. When August Hedman came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Glemmingebro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that August Hedman couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvald Delin during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. August Hedman succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Elof Fristedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johannes Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Hagström having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Glemmingebro walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
