With his leg Östen Boström managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Glemmingebro's August Hedman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. August Hedman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Östen Boström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. gurkneo20's Östen Boström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save gurkneo20 from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the game, Per-Erik Rosendal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. gurkneo20's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glemmingebro the free kick. After a rather tough play, Glemmingebro's Bengt-Åke Tidén got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ernst Beneth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rickard Hagström having to make a save. When gurkneo20's Ernst Beneth in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glemmingebro's goalie prevented a goal. 28 minutes into the match, gurkneo20's Ernst Beneth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rickard Hagström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ernst Beneth might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rickard Hagström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernst Beneth ran back to his position shaking his head. Dan Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Glemmingebro's zone, Dan Löfgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rickard Hagström came out of the goal and Dan Löfgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Glemmingebro's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Beneth came free, but Rickard Hagström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernst Beneth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Hagström having to interfere. If Dan Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th match minute, gurkneo20 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigvard Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Mattias Holmberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell August Hedman to make the kick off. A collision led to gurkneo20 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Per-Erik Rosendal hit a great ball. August Hedman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Ernst Beneth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match, Ernst Beneth tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rickard Hagström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 62nd minute, Ernst Beneth reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rickard Hagström. The goal made the score 0-1. Dan Löfgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rickard Hagström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Ernst Beneth fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Dan Löfgren came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the gurkneo20 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Löfgren couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, Åke Ingemarsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glemmingebro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave gurkneo20 the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Åke Ingemarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernst Beneth in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rickard Hagström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ernst Beneth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Hagström having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Dan Löfgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rickard Hagström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rickard Hagström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Beneth in the 81st minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Glemmingebro got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Enström. gurkneo20's Per-Erik Rosendal got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ernst Beneth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. gurkneo20's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
