Ivar Enström might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Siggman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivar Enström ran back to his position shaking his head. Rickard Hagström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Hedlund in the 20th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Christian Hedlund put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rickard Hagström. 28 minutes into the match, Christian Hedlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rickard Hagström. Glemmingebro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Hedlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With his leg Jonas Siggman managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Glemmingebro's August Hedman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. August Hedman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jonas Siggman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. August Hedman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonas Siggman firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 45 minutes Grästorp FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Osvald Delin who took care of the corner kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivar Enström to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Enström in the 51st minute of play forced Grästorp FK's goalkeeper Jonas Siggman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Grästorp FK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Christian Hedlund hit a great ball. Glemmingebro's Rickard Hagström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Hedlund in the 56th minute of play. If August Hedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian Hedlund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rickard Hagström came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Hedlund slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 62nd minute. In the 68th minute of the match Olof Lilja sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rickard Hagström skillfully saved the ball. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Birger Västerberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Glemmingebro's Åke Ingemarsson got a free kick in the 71st minute. Tage Asmundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Christian Hedlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Rickard Hagström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Birger Västerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
