Tom Myr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Broberg in the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Jon Joensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linneryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Joensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Kenneth Broberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tom Myr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Linneryd's zone, Robert Åhman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Brask came out of the goal and Robert Åhman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Linneryd's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Apelquist came free, but Fred Brask reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximilian Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Brask having to interfere. Linneryd's Fred Brask played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Apelquist in the 23rd minute of play. Jon Joensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 31 in the game by Robert Åhman from a close distance when the talented Fred Brask managed to make a qualified save. Linneryd's players were relieved. In the 36th minute, Kenneth Broberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tom Myr was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximilian Apelquist was the one to do the kick off. Kenneth Broberg kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Robert Åhman came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Reaktor Göteborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Åhman couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Linneryd booed when Reaktor Göteborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Siöman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Wållander during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
