The audience thought a goal was coming when Jon Joensson got free with Jack Åberg in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Will Griggs On Fire's Jack Åberg got control of the ball when Jon Joensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kenneth Broberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Åberg having to interfere. Will Griggs On Fire's Jack Åberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Will Griggs On Fire from getting a goal against them. If Kenneth Broberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Brask took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt Holmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Brask having to interfere. Ove Abrahamsson struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Fred Brask didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Will Griggs On Fire. In the 36th minute, Arman Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Ove Abrahamsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kenneth Broberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jack Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Linneryd's Kenneth Broberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jack Åberg. Jack Åberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jon Joensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esbjörn Brask's late challenge caught a Will Griggs On Fire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esbjörn Brask helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Esbjörn Brask hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jack Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Joensson in the 60th minute of play. When Bengt Holmberg came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Will Griggs On Fire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt Holmberg couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Jon Joensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linneryd's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon Joensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jack Åberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kenneth Broberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 75 minutes, Kenneth Broberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linneryd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenneth Broberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ove Abrahamsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jack Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenneth Broberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Pål Kilberg kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jack Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Broberg in the 87th minute of play. Jon Joensson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jack Åberg having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Broberg in the 92nd minute of play forced Will Griggs On Fire's goalkeeper Jack Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frans Mattsson kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When Kenneth Broberg came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Linneryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenneth Broberg couldn't finish the play. Jon Joensson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jack Åberg having to make a save.
