After 3 played minutes Reaktor Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Johan Sandell. Bengt Holmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Myr having to interfere. Robert Åhman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jack Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Will Griggs On Fire defense, Maximilian Apelquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jack Åberg. The Will Griggs On Fire fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack Åberg should have stopped the shot. Maximilian Apelquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jack Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Will Griggs On Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. Jack Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Åhman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jack Åberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilian Apelquist in the 33rd minute of play. Ove Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tom Myr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Bengt Holmberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tom Myr was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Maximilian Apelquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jack Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Maximilian Apelquist made the kick off in the second half. Robert Åhman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Holmberg in the 58th minute of play forced Reaktor Göteborg's goalkeeper Tom Myr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pål Kilberg during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Will Griggs On Fire's Pål Kilberg got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ivar Fridlund's late challenge caught a Reaktor Göteborg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivar Fridlund helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Will Griggs On Fire got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Fridlund. Robert Åhman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jack Åberg made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Robert Åhman sent off a good shot on target. Tom Myr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Holmberg in the 77th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play Reaktor Göteborg's Johan Sandell was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 79th match minute, Reaktor Göteborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Sandell to maneuver through the defense. Tom Myr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reaktor Göteborg's Tom Myr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Holmberg in the 81st minute of play. Bengt Holmberg scored 2-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tom Myr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Will Griggs On Fire's Bengt Holmberg in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reaktor Göteborg's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Reaktor Göteborg booed when Will Griggs On Fire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Åke Skräddare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Åhman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jack Åberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Will Griggs On Fire were victorious despite being under pressure from Reaktor Göteborg for much of the match.
