Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ulf Duset took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Georg Sigfridsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Linneryd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varnhem BK the free kick. Georg Sigfridsson hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Kenneth Broberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kenneth Broberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon Joensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Brask took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Duset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Varnhem BK booed when Linneryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arman Gustavsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludwig Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Brask having to interfere. Fred Brask made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Duset in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linneryd's goalkeeper Fred Brask, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ulf Duset received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fred Brask tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ludwig Lind took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Brask. Fred Brask dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Kaj Utfal kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Tor Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth Broberg in the 64th minute of play. Jon Joensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tor Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leif Kullgren kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Tor Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Joensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 81 minutes into the game, Linneryd's Jon Joensson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tor Åkesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Ludwig Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ludwig Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Brask having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Linneryd's goal looked a bit too open when Ulf Duset came free, but Fred Brask reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ulf Duset kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fred Brask. That made the score 3-3 in the 96 minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
