The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Nävekvarn IK getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Emanuel Siggman hit a great ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Lukas Gernberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nävekvarn IK's Karl Lindkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Nävekvarn IK's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Sandberg came free, but Karl Lindkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 minutes of play, Mockfjärd FK's Dag Sandberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Lindkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! William Kellman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Björklund having to interfere. Dag Sandberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roy Strömbom hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Dag Sandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mockfjärd FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dag Sandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Lukas Gernberg made a precise shot to the right of Karl Lindkvist. Nävekvarn IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Tomas Ödman fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nävekvarn IK's protests and gave Tomas Ödman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nävekvarn IK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Tomas Ödman hit a great ball. Mockfjärd FK's Lukas Gernberg got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Nävekvarn IK's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Sandberg came free, but Karl Lindkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nävekvarn IK's Karl Lindkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Sandberg in the 46th minute of play. Bror Hägert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 53rd minute Dag Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Lindkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nävekvarn IK's Leif Ström got a free kick in the 56th minute. Lukas Gernberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Karl Lindkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Nävekvarn IK's Leif Ström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonardo Björklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 67 minutes into the game, Bror Hägert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Leonardo Björklund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lukas Gernberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Karl Lindkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Dag Sandberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl Lindkvist. Nävekvarn IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dag Sandberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Karl Lindkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukas Gernberg in the 82nd minute. Nävekvarn IK's Karl Lindkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Nävekvarn IK from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Mockfjärd FK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Peter Vollander hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mockfjärd FK's zone, William Kellman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Björklund came out of the goal and William Kellman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mockfjärd FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
