The supporters of Kvänum booed when Fredrika BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Emil Finnman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th match minute, Fredrika BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Lindholm to maneuver through the defense. Ronny Ekström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benjamin Bergsten. Fredrika BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot by Viktor Aronsson from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Daniel Ekgren's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elof Säfström in the 16th minute of play forced Kvänum's goalkeeper Daniel Ekgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Hjälm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Benjamin Bergsten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Stig Hjälm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Bergsten was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Åke Larsson in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Bergsten saved Fredrika BK from getting behind. Daniel Alrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Kvänum's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Säfström came free, but Daniel Ekgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kvänum's Daniel Ekgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Emil Finnman in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Fredrika BK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Hjälm came free, but Benjamin Bergsten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Ekgren came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fredrika BK's Daniel Alrot. But to his dismay, Daniel Alrot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Stig Hjälm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Benjamin Bergsten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig Hjälm made a kick off. In the 62nd match minute, Kvänum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Carlsson to maneuver through the defense. After 64 minutes of play, Fredrika BK's Daniel Alrot made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Ekgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fredrika BK's Elof Säfström got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elof Säfström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Daniel Ekgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Ekgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Emil Finnman in the 78th minute of play. When Viktor Aronsson fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fredrika BK's protests and gave Viktor Aronsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fredrika BK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Viktor Aronsson hit a great ball. Ronny Ekström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Stig Hjälm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benjamin Bergsten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fredrika BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kvänum had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
