In the 21st minute Sven-Oskar Brander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrik Arenstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes Cyberdyne United got a freekick which was hit by Lars Falck. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Thor Benett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cyberdyne United's supporters rose to their feet, but Thor Benett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hjalmar Smed breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 29 minutes of play, Cyberdyne United's Thor Benett made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Benett to make the kick off. With a little luck, Cyberdyne United's Ulrik Arenstedt got control of the ball when Sten Sävström tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Karl-Johan Lindberg came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Malung fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Johan Lindberg couldn't finish the play. Ulrik Arenstedt made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Sven-Oskar Brander sent off a good shot on target. The Cyberdyne United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Malung's performance. The match ended with a win for Malung.
