Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Tholsson started the match with the kick off. Knut Jonsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ola Berglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Svenstavik's Tomas Tholsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tom Hammarbäck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Malmberget's Marc Ström got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Svenstavik's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Ström came free, but Knut Jonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Tomas Tholsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svenstavik's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Tholsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Hammarbäck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 28 minutes, Dan Colin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svenstavik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Colin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Fernkvist during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Svenstavik booed when Malmberget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Fernkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Ola Berglund in the 53rd minute of play forced Svenstavik's goalkeeper Knut Jonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Axel Wester made a precise shot to the right of Knut Jonsson. Svenstavik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. A collision led to Malmberget getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Marc Ström hit a great ball. Svenstavik's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Malmberget had won, even though Svenstavik had held more of the ball.
