Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Manfred Alebeck's late challenge caught a Malmberget's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfred Alebeck helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Åkarp FK's Manfred Alebeck got a free kick in the 4th minute. Tom Hammarbäck came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Åkarp FK's Joel Pihl. But to his dismay, Joel Pihl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Hannes Ahlén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 minutes, Henry Gustavsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malmberget and the Åkarp FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Åkarp FK a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roger Hermansson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Malmberget's Tom Hammarbäck. 0-2. 15 minutes into the game, one of Åkarp FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Benjamin Hellkvist, was totally fooled by Malmberget's Karl-Michael Örtendal, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 20 played minutes Malmberget got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ola Berglund. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Hannes Ahlén managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åkarp FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannes Ahlén was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Hammarbäck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jens-Ola Berglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Benjamin Hellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Hannes Ahlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Hammarbäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Hannes Ahlén ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tom Hammarbäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 34th minute, Joel Pihl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Malmberget's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Pihl came free, but Tom Hammarbäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tom Hammarbäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Ahlén in the 45th minute of play. Benjamin Hellkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valter Hedling in the 49th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hannes Ahlén to make the kick off. The supporters of Åkarp FK booed when Malmberget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hannes Ahlén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Malmberget booed when Åkarp FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Alebeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hannes Ahlén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hannes Ahlén in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Hammarbäck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tom Hammarbäck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hannes Ahlén in the 67th minute. Jens-Ola Berglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Hellkvist having to interfere. Åkarp FK's Benjamin Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Wester in the 71st minute of play. Hannes Ahlén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joel Pihl struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Tom Hammarbäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åkarp FK. Jens-Ola Berglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Benjamin Hellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Pihl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Tom Hammarbäck made a huge save. Hannes Ahlén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åkarp FK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
