The referee ignored Ulrika BK's protests and gave Joar Wenerdahl a yellow card for diving instead. Herman Häll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Trulsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Ulrika BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Heggert came free, but Herman Häll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixten Holmberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Carl Dalkvist made a huge save. Håkan Hjortberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Dalkvist having to interfere. If Jens-Ove Heggert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingemar Askelöf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Carl Dalkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håkan Hjortberg scored 1-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carl Dalkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Charlie Wallgren made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Ove Heggert got free with Herman Häll in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carl Dalkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Askelöf in the 65th minute of play. If Charlie Wallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carl Dalkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Hjortberg in the 74th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Gnaget Wonders's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Hjortberg came free, but Carl Dalkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jens-Ove Heggert came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Gnaget Wonders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Ove Heggert couldn't finish the play.
