After a rather tough play, Lesjöfors RK's Joseph Fernkvist got a free kick in the 27th minute. Herman Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Wallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Brendon Haskell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Björklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Lesjöfors RK defense, Sebastian Björklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herman Göransson. The Lesjöfors RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herman Göransson should have stopped the shot. Ulf Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herman Göransson having to interfere. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ulf Wallin sped through Lesjöfors RK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Herman Göransson.

The supporters of Lesjöfors RK booed when Husgöl IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Björklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Knut Högberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Husgöl IF's Gustav Näver quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 61st minute, Gustav Näver reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herman Göransson. The goal made the score 1-3. Ian Vennerström kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Husgöl IF's Gustav Näver managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Knut Högberg in the 70 minute of the game. Gustav Näver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Herman Göransson made a huge save. When Ulf Wallin came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Husgöl IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Wallin couldn't finish the play. After 85 played minutes Husgöl IF got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Näver. Stig Alberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Herman Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Ulf Wallin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Husgöl IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. After having played for 94 minutes, Brendon Haskell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Husgöl IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendon Haskell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Ulf Wallin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Husgöl IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lesjöfors RK the free kick.
