Axel Pååk hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the game, Sydkoster IK's Bernt Smedfeldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frank Söderberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Simon Pålsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. In the 44th minute, Axel Pååk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st match minute, Sydkoster IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Hake to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skärhamn RK's goalkeeper Frank Söderberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Bernt Smedfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolf Lindholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frank Söderberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolf Lindholm ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolf Lindholm in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Söderberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Simon Pålsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Simon Pålsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Edvin Svensson made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Bernt Smedfeldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sydkoster IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a rather tough play, Skärhamn RK's Boris Wahlström got a free kick in the 84th minute. Sydkoster IK's Kent Valström couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Skärhamn RK. Otto Nyman charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Otto Nyman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 minutes, Marcus Björnberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sydkoster IK and the Skärhamn RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Skärhamn RK booed when Sydkoster IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Björnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvin Svensson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Byström in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Skärhamn RK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sydkoster IK.
