In the 22nd minute, Glommen FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after August Zachrisson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Felix Alin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Felix Alin came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Edsbyn BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Alin couldn't finish the play. If Felix Alin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnny Friberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Alin in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Glommen FF's Jon Utfal got a free kick in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Glommen FF's Jon Utfal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikael Bergström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Johnny Friberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Alin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Felix Alin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Glommen FF's zone, Felix Alin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Friberger came out of the goal and Felix Alin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Alin made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Alin in the 51st minute of play forced Glommen FF's goalkeeper Johnny Friberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Glommen FF getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Olle Söderberg hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Edsbyn BF's Felix Alin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johnny Friberger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 58 minutes, Felix Alin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edsbyn BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Alin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnny Friberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Alin in the 60th minute of play. Jon Utfal's late challenge caught a Edsbyn BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jon Utfal helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Glommen FF got a freekick which was hit by Jon Utfal. Konrad Finnman tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Johnny Friberger. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 71st minute. When Felix Alin came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Edsbyn BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Alin couldn't finish the play. Johnny Friberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Alin in the 78th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Glommen FF's Olle Söderberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mikael Bergström. That made the score 1-2 after 85 minutes of play. Chants of Glommen FF echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Edsbyn BF had held the ball for most of the match.
