Vargön BK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gert Ahlkvist in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt Sandberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Offendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Bengt Sandberg managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Vargön BK's Fabian Strömberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 43rd match minute, Saltsjöbaden FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orvar Nordkvist to maneuver through the defense. If Fabian Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Offendahl to make the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bengt Sandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Strömberg in the 87th minute of the match. Fabian Strömberg scored 2-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt Sandberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Offendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Bengt Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vargön BK had won after a very even match.
