After a defensive mix-up in Sydkoster FK's zone, Rickard Nordlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Vallman came out of the goal and Rickard Nordlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Michael Kellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Färjestaden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Kellbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Karl-Michael Ålberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Färjestaden's Michael Kellbom got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Rickard Nordlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Färjestaden's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Nordlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Vallman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Henry Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Färjestaden's Anders Dalström got a free kick in the 34th minute. Rickard Nordlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Vallman having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When Michael Kellbom came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Färjestaden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Kellbom couldn't finish the play. Sydkoster FK's Hugo Vallman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Nordlund in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Sydkoster FK's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Kellbom came free, but Hugo Vallman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Kellbom scored 2-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Vallman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
