The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jäders IF's goalkeeper Sigvard Fransson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Nils-Erik Brovall made a precise shot to the right of Sigvard Fransson. Jäders IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Alvin Apelkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd match minute, Jäders IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Colin to maneuver through the defense. Edsbruk's Josef Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Åberg in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Daniel Bammerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef Martinsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Bammerman's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. A collision led to Edsbruk getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tor Svensson hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Jäders IF's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Apelkvist came free, but Sigvard Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigvard Fransson was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Alvin Apelkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alvin Apelkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvin Apelkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Edsbruk defense, Edvard Åberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josef Martinsson. The Edsbruk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josef Martinsson should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Edvard Åberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josef Martinsson was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Edsbruk's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Colin came free, but Josef Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Bammerman struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Josef Martinsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jäders IF. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edvard Åberg in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josef Martinsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tor Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Bammerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Josef Martinsson made a huge save. Alvin Apelkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Sigvard Fransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Edsbruk had won after a very even match.
