Whyreddie FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Galle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils-Åke Rolandsson during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bakerstreet FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Nils-Åke Rolandsson hit a great ball. Thor Fernkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Whyreddie FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Hurtig to maneuver through the defense. Ralf Eriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Hedström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Marcus Galle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rune Wennersten to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Bakerstreet FC's zone, Marcus Galle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf Eriksson came out of the goal and Marcus Galle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Bakerstreet FC's Ralf Eriksson got control of the ball when Edgar Hedström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rune Wennersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Smitt having to interfere. If Viktor Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rune Wennersten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Brolin in the 64th minute of play forced Whyreddie FC's goalkeeper Gert Smitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rune Wennersten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rune Wennersten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gert Smitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Bakerstreet FC's Viktor Lundin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gert Smitt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 86th minute, Greger Kjellkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Lundin scored 2-1 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gert Smitt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Viktor Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Wennersten in the 93rd minute of play forced Whyreddie FC's goalkeeper Gert Smitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bakerstreet FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
