Isac Kvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Västerstrand having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, Strömsbruk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Sefastsson to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, one of Strömsbruk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hans Västerstrand had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Uno Gullesson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A hard shot 11 in the game by Svenåge Esløv from a close distance when the talented Hans Västerstrand managed to make a qualified save. Strömsbruk's players were relieved. Svenåge Esløvs short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Hans Västerstrand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 14 minutes into the game, Svenåge Esløv was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ljungsbro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strömsbruk the free kick. Svenåge Esløv hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Svenåge Esløv came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ljungsbro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Svenåge Esløv couldn't finish the play. Isac Kvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans Västerstrand having to make a save. Hans Västerstrand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Svenåge Esløv showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. Svenåge Esløv who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Hans Västerstrand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Svenåge Esløv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Hans Västerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svenåge Esløv in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Västerstrand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Ljungsbro booed when Strömsbruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Finsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Svenåge Esløv in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hans Västerstrand, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hans Västerstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svenåge Esløv in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Strömsbruk's zone, Svenåge Esløv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Västerstrand came out of the goal and Svenåge Esløv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 played minutes Strömsbruk got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Sefastsson. If Svenåge Esløv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Svenåge Esløv to strike the kick off in the second half. Svenåge Esløv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute Svenåge Esløv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Västerstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Kling might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hans Västerstrand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Kling ran back to his position shaking his head. Svenåge Esløv recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svenåge Esløv in the 59th minute of play forced Strömsbruk's goalkeeper Hans Västerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Ljungsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Strand came free, but Ragnar Lövgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Strömsbruk's zone, Svenåge Esløv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Västerstrand came out of the goal and Svenåge Esløv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvard Berglund kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Svenåge Esløv had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans Västerstrand. Strömsbruk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Svenåge Esløv was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Svenåge Esløv scored 5-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans Västerstrand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the match, Ljungsbro's goalkeeper Ragnar Lövgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jon Olofsson. If Svenåge Esløv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bennvar Pinkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Västerstrand having to interfere. Felix Kling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Hans Västerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hans Västerstrand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Svenåge Esløv went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Ljungsbro walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
