Örjan Hedberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ragnar Julin in the 6th minute. Harry Smedfeldt struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Örjan Hedberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nyhamnsläge. David Unesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Söderberg having to interfere. Charles Smed hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Unesson in the 16th minute of play forced Nyhamnsläge's goalkeeper Conny Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 17th minute when Sigvard Ek elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Harry Smedfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Nyhamnsläge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Smedfeldt couldn't finish the play. Nyhamnsläge's Conny Söderberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigvard Ek in the 23rd minute of play. Team Zissou's Örjan Hedberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Team Zissou from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Nyhamnsläge's Ragnar Julin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Örjan Hedberg. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. If David Unesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Team Zissou's David Unesson got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Team Zissou's Örjan Hedberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Team Zissou from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sigvard Ek to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Unesson got free with Conny Söderberg in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 65 minutes, Ragnar Julin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nyhamnsläge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ragnar Julin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th match minute, Team Zissou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Lundström to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute Harry Smedfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Örjan Hedberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Team Zissou's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigvard Ek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nyhamnsläge's goalkeeper Conny Söderberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Sigvard Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Zissou's supporters rose to their feet, but Sigvard Ek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conny Söderberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harry Smedfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Örjan Hedberg having to interfere. If Ragnar Julin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes Nyhamnsläge got a freekick which was hit by Filiph Lind. The Team Zissou players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Nyhamnsläge from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
