Örjan Hedberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Frans Blomquist struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Örjan Hedberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sangis AIF. In the 40th match minute, Team Zissou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Ek to maneuver through the defense. After 48 played minutes Team Zissou got a freekick which was hit by Anders Lundström. Daniel Qvalfeldt, 49 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Sigvard Ek made the kick off in the second half. Leonard Vedholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Unesson in the 55th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Frans Blomquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frans Blomquist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Örjan Hedberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Frans Blomquist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 66th minute. Frans Blomquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Örjan Hedberg having to interfere. Sigvard Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Leonard Vedholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Team Zissou succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Sangis AIF had controlled the match.
