Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Sundling started the match with the kick off. Rickard Haglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Tönnberg in the 2nd minute of play. In the 3rd match minute, Norberg BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Tinglöf to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Tinglöf during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dutch FC booed when Norberg BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Tinglöf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian Tönnberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rickard Haglund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Joar Biörk kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Norberg BK's goalkeeper Rickard Haglund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sven-Olof Kiempe hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Dutch FC's goal looked a bit too open when Greger Drake came free, but Svante Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ian Tönnberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rickard Haglund. That made the score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. Svante Åström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Sundling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ian Tönnberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ian Tönnberg scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rickard Haglund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Börje Koch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrik Tinglöf was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 63rd minute Ian Tönnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Haglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvid Löfgren charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arvid Löfgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ian Tönnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Rickard Haglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Norberg BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute of the match Torbjörn Bruse sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rickard Haglund skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Dutch FC's Kristian Johnsson got a free kick in the 75th minute. Rickard Haglund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dutch FC's Börje Koch got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norberg BK's Rickard Haglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Koch in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute Ian Tönnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Haglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dutch FC had played much better football throughout.
