The supporters of Nikanton FC booed when Pronto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Brovall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Holmstedt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Nikanton FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fred Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Damm having to interfere. If Fred Bergqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ove Kling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Damm having to interfere. Pronto's Ove Kling got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ove Kling might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens Damm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ove Kling ran back to his position shaking his head. Fred Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 minutes of play, Pronto's Ove Kling made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens Damm was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roy Ekenberg hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Bergqvist to make the kick off. Nikanton FC's Jens Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Bergqvist in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Pronto's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Sigfridsson came free, but Gert Kjellberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Emil Sigfridsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Kjellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Emil Sigfridsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute Fred Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Sigfridsson got in the 76th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gert Kjellberg handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Ove Kling struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jens Damm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pronto. In the 81st minute, Pronto's Fred Bergqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. If Emil Sigfridsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Holmstedt in the 86th minute of play forced Pronto's goalkeeper Gert Kjellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Holmstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Sigfridsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gert Kjellberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Pronto got a freekick which was hit by Andy Sefastsson. When Anton Holmstedt came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Nikanton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Holmstedt couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Pronto's zone, Emil Sigfridsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert Kjellberg came out of the goal and Emil Sigfridsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
