Sture Göransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tor Fristedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jönåker BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor Fristedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Ahlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Jönåker BK's Oscar Löfgren seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Oscar Löfgren the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jönåker BK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Oscar Löfgren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Jönåker BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Båstad:s goal. 33 minutes into the match, Jönåker BK's goalkeeper Gustaf Lenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valter Sandström. In the 35th minute Tony Bergkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Lenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stig Karlsson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Karl-Johan Wennerlund shot from long distance in the 38th minute, but Gustaf Lenberg was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After 40 played minutes Tony Bergkvist rounded Jönåker BK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Jonas Sandwall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Bergkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Gustaf Lenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

59 minutes into the match, Jönåker BK's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Sandström came free, but Gustaf Lenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jesper Eskilsson fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Båstad's protests and gave Jesper Eskilsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Båstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesper Eskilsson to maneuver through the defense. Valter Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Lenberg having to interfere. If Tony Bergkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Båstad's Valter Sandström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustaf Lenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Båstad booed when Jönåker BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Alfors didn't get a good kick on the ball. Båstad's Valter Sandström got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustaf Lenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sture Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Jönåker BK's zone, Tony Bergkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaf Lenberg came out of the goal and Tony Bergkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Båstad were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jönåker BK for a fine match.
