Spectators: 7258 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Verner Boström took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to AIK FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jaffer Al Holey hit a great ball. Kjell Fagerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute Tomas Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Olsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Oskar Olsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Ivarsson in the 9th minute of play. Jaffer Al Holey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Ambjörnsson having to interfere. AIK FC's Karl-Oskar Olsman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Ivarsson in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Timmy Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Olsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hjalmar Ambjörnsson made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Jörgen Holmgren sent off a good shot on target. Hjalmar Ambjörnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Ahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Virestad's goalkeeper Hjalmar Ambjörnsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörgen Holmgren. When Jaffer Al Holey came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the AIK FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaffer Al Holey couldn't finish the play. Verner Boström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hjalmar Ambjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hjalmar Ambjörnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörgen Holmgren in the 30th minute. Karl-Oskar Olsman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Ivarsson in the 33rd minute of the match. Karl-Oskar Olsman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kjell Fagerberg went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Virestad's Hjalmar Ambjörnsson got control of the ball when Jaffer Al Holey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Verner Boström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virestad's Hjalmar Ambjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Montenegro in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Virestad's goalkeeper Hjalmar Ambjörnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Virestad were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell Fagerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Kjell Fagerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, AIK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Fagerberg came free, but Karl-Oskar Olsman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, AIK FC's Karl-Oskar Olsman got control of the ball when Tomas Ivarsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jaffer Al Holey struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Hjalmar Ambjörnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AIK FC. Fernando Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd match minute, Virestad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Skoog to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oliver Gullesson during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Oliver Gullesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Oskar Olsman made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Hubert Ivarsson sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, AIK FC's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Olsman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Ivarsson. Jaffer Al Holey scored 1-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hjalmar Ambjörnsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jörgen Holmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Verner Boström in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hjalmar Ambjörnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Timmy Blomqvist took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Karl-Oskar Olsman to make any attempt to save it. In the 84th minute, Fernando Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hjalmar Ambjörnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Inge Söder hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Jörgen Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hjalmar Ambjörnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Jaffer Al Holey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Hjalmar Ambjörnsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
