Åmål FK's Brian Svanberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Staffan Engström, made in the 23rd minute of the game. FC Zaffari's Malcolm Björkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Låsberg in the 24th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Andreas Eriksson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Greger Öman. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 37th minute, Vilhelm Kinell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Åmål FK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Henry Dahlberg hit a great ball. If Christer Grep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Låsberg to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Låsberg in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Zaffari's goalkeeper Malcolm Björkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 58 minutes on the clock, Vilhelm Kinell commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 59 played minutes Åmål FK got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Kinell. Greger Öman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dag Blomberg in the 60th minute of the match. Henry Dahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Malcolm Björkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åmål FK's Henry Dahlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Almkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Björkman having to interfere. Brian Svanberg hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match.
