After 5 played minutes Runmarö FF got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Magnus Östlund. 6 minutes into the match, The SlavicTongues's Gilbert Winström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thomas Snäll struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Allan Kullgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The SlavicTongues. Brian Ros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Mickelsson's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. If Oscar Ånger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Mickelsson scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brian Ros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Göran Eskilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Mickelsson struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Brian Ros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Runmarö FF. If Thomas Snäll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Persson charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian Persson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half Runmarö FF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thomas Snäll was the one to do the kick off. Runmarö FF's Allan Kullgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Zander in the 51st minute of play. In the 56th minute, Michael Mickelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, The SlavicTongues's goalkeeper Brian Ros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Ånger. In the 63rd minute Oscar Ånger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Ånger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Ros having to interfere. Oscar Ånger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, The SlavicTongues's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Mickelsson came free, but Brian Ros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Ros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Mickelsson in the 76th minute of the match. Oscar Ånger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Brian Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Michael Mickelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Brian Ros managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Runmarö FF's Oscar Ånger fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 86th match minute, Runmarö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Eskilsson to maneuver through the defense. The SlavicTongues's Torsten Zander got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Ånger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Brian Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Mickelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in The SlavicTongues fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Runmarö FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
