Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Casper Ahlbom took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Hjalmar Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilgot Alebom kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 12 minutes, Mattias Dahlquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wolverines FC and the Holmön IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wolverines FC's Mattias Dahlquist got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Widberg in the 15th minute of play forced Wolverines FC's goalkeeper Örjan Lidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Wolverines FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mattias Dahlquist hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Vincent Hedvall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Örjan Lidman was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Örjan Lidman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vincent Hedvall's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Kevin Nordström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Örjan Lidman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 25th minute Vincent Hedvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Örjan Lidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Holmön IF booed when Wolverines FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Pihlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikael Widberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Örjan Lidman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincent Hedvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vincent Hedvall made a kick off. Mikael Widberg struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Örjan Lidman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmön IF. Mikael Widberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Örjan Lidman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 61 played minutes Holmön IF got a freekick which was hit by Joel Lundström. Josef Ahlroht recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 64 in the game by Mikael Widberg from a close distance when the talented Örjan Lidman managed to make a qualified save. Wolverines FC's players were relieved. Örjan Lidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Hedvall in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Wolverines FC's Olov Samuelsson got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wolverines FC! Vincent Hedvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Josef Ahlroht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Holmön IF's zone, Hjalmar Svensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esbjörn Frisck came out of the goal and Hjalmar Svensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the game, Casper Ahlbom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Esbjörn Frisck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 85 minutes of play, Holmön IF's Mikael Widberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Örjan Lidman was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Holmön IF's Vincent Hedvall in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wolverines FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Mikael Widberg put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Örjan Lidman. Olov Samuelsson charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olov Samuelsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes Wolverines FC got a freekick which was hit by Olov Samuelsson. The Holmön IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
