Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pär Sundström got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to medan if getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Leif Anundsson hit a great ball. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by medan if's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Josef Ahlroht was slow to take the kick. During this time Wolverines FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Wolverines FC's corner Josef Ahlroht fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Elliot Galle quite easily take care of the ball. After 12 minutes, Birger Pihlgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wolverines FC and the medan if players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for medan if. Jens-Åke Drewitz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Örjan Lidman. 0-1. Wolverines FC's Örjan Lidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Levander in the 17th minute of play. Patrick Levander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Örjan Lidman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pär Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pär Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Casper Ahlbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in medan if's zone, Casper Ahlbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliot Galle came out of the goal and Casper Ahlbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the game, Casper Ahlbom recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elliot Galle. Casper Ahlbom showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Casper Ahlbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pär Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Örjan Lidman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Levander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Örjan Lidman having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casper Ahlbom was the one to do the kick off. Henrik Abrahamsson kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pär Sundström in the 58th minute of play forced Wolverines FC's goalkeeper Örjan Lidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Hjalmar Svensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elliot Galle was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Casper Ahlbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolverines FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Casper Ahlbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elliot Galle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute Hjalmar Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliot Galle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hjalmar Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casper Ahlbom in the 70th minute of play forced medan if's goalkeeper Elliot Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Casper Ahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, medan if's Pär Sundström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Örjan Lidman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pär Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Örjan Lidman having to interfere. Wolverines FC's Birger Pihlgren got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Birger Pihlgren off the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Wolverines FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of medan if:s goal. When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, medan if's Jens-Åke Drewitz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Örjan Lidman. Pär Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Örjan Lidman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Wolverines FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Dahlquist to maneuver through the defense. Örjan Lidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pär Sundström in the 93rd minute of play. Patrick Levander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Örjan Lidman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The medan if supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing medan if would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
