Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sven-Edvin Colin took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Vilgot Edström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vargön's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilgot Edström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josef Olofsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Edvin Colin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Olofsson having to interfere. If Bengt-Åke Törnkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vargön's Isac Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Colin in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Värends Nöbbele's Ingvar Nordström got a free kick in the 17th minute. Erling Karlstedt, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kim Granqvist took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josef Olofsson. Josef Olofsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 32 minutes into the game, Jens-Erik Vester was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Värends Nöbbele's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vargön the free kick. Jens-Erik Vester kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When Sture Ahlquist fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vargön's protests and gave Sture Ahlquist a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Värends Nöbbele booed when Vargön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sture Ahlquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Carlsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Isac Olofsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Edvin Colin's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When Bengt-Åke Törnkvist came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Värends Nöbbele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Åke Törnkvist couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kim Granqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Vargön's zone, Sven-Edvin Colin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Olofsson came out of the goal and Sven-Edvin Colin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vargön fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Värends Nöbbele's Bengt-Åke Törnkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Sven-Edvin Colin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Magnus Tönnberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vargön's Isac Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Colin in the 73rd minute of play. If Kim Granqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bengt-Åke Törnkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Edvin Colin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Olofsson having to interfere. Kim Granqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Josef Olofsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Värends Nöbbele were the better team. Värends Nöbbele's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
