A collision led to FC Tylösand getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Folke Ålberg hit a great ball. Alvik FC's Joakim Isaksson got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stig Kolberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Oskar Wållander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stig Kolberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Stig Kolberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Sven-Oskar Wållander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Alvik FC's Sven-Oskar Wållander threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joakim Isaksson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig Kolberg got free with Sven-Oskar Wållander in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Joakim Isaksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Oskar Wållander was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. If Manfred Holm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig Kolberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Sven-Oskar Wållander skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 30 minutes into the game, Sonny Grelsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvik FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Tylösand the free kick. After 30 played minutes Alvik FC got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Grelsson. Stig Kolberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 43rd playminute. 48 minutes into the match, Alvik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Browall came free, but Valdemar Löfgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiph Browall made a kick off. In the 66th minute, Stig Kolberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvik FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Sven-Oskar Wållander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Joakim Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Joakim Isaksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Wållander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, FC Tylösand's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Isaksson came free, but Sven-Oskar Wållander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sonny Grelsson was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 91st minute, Sonny Grelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Alvik FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
