Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joakim Isaksson started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Alvik FC's goalkeeper Valdemar Löfgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marko Höijer. Stig Kolberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Finsberg having to interfere. Alvik FC's Valdemar Löfgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Alvik FC from getting a goal against them. Marko Höijer scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valdemar Löfgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Hääger in the 15th minute of play forced Alvik FC's goalkeeper Valdemar Löfgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stig Kolberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arne Hääger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdemar Löfgren having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joakim Isaksson in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aron Finsberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Marko Höijer notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Alvik FC's Valdemar Löfgren. Valdemar Löfgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Stig Kolberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvik FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig Kolberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Finsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sonny Grelsson's late challenge caught a Grillby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sonny Grelsson helped the player get up and apologised. Sonny Grelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th play minute Marko Höijer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Valdemar Löfgren. 3-1. Marko Höijer in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Valdemar Löfgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Arne Hääger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 3-2 became the score in the 47th minute when Joakim Isaksson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arne Hääger to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Möllgren during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Möllgren hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Sonny Grelsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Alvik FC's Sonny Grelsson got a free kick in the 64th minute. Arne Hääger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdemar Löfgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Höijer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Höijer in the 84th minute of play forced Alvik FC's goalkeeper Valdemar Löfgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdemar Löfgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Höijer in the 91st minute of the match. Arne Hääger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Valdemar Löfgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Arne Hääger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grillby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Hääger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grillby's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
