After 20 played minutes Jan Junnis Klubb got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Salqvist. 21 minutes into the match, Jan Junnis Klubb's goalkeeper Jarl Spetz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Melander. Jarl Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Fastesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th match minute, Jan Junnis Klubb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Olsmann to maneuver through the defense. Jarl Spetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens Fastesson's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 35th minute Jens Fastesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Melander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Devcore BK's Karl-Erik Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yngve Bengtsson in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yngve Bengtsson in the 42nd minute of play forced Devcore BK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Devcore BK's Ingemar Asklund got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 46 played minutes Devcore BK got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Grep. In the 47th minute Yngve Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Jens Fastesson made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hannes Salqvist during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Devcore BK booed when Jan Junnis Klubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Salqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yngve Bengtsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Blomqvist having to interfere. Jan Junnis Klubb's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Viktor Olsmann in the 65th minute. The corner led Jan Junnis Klubb's Viktor Olsmann to fire away a dangerous shot which Karl-Erik Blomqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Fastesson in the 66th minute of play forced Jan Junnis Klubb's goalkeeper Jarl Spetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarl Spetz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens Fastesson went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 78 minutes into the match, Jan Junnis Klubb's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Melander came free, but Jarl Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens Fastesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Spetz having to interfere. Douglas Skröders short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Karl-Erik Blomqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 92 minutes into the match, Yngve Bengtsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Erik Blomqvist. Devcore BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yngve Bengtsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Karl-Erik Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Skröder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
