Sigvard Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egon Nordström, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Zachrisson in the 14th minute of play forced IFK Gnarp's goalkeeper Sigvard Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Arne Delin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Gnarp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Delin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egon Nordström to make the kick off. Sigvard Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Göran Lindqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Örjan Kråk was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Herman Zachrisson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sigvard Hellkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. When the match was over JOE BIEDEN BF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than IFK Gnarp throughout the match.
