An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Löv in the 11th minute of play forced Hjärtum BK's goalkeeper Per-Arne Pettersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birger Löv struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Per-Arne Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bromma FF. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birger Löv in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Arne Pettersson saved Hjärtum BK from getting behind. After having played for 17 minutes, Birger Löv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bromma FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Löv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Löv couldn't finish the play. Georg Dalgren charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Georg Dalgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hjärtum BK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Georg Dalgren hit a great ball. When Birger Löv came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Bromma FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Löv couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claes Martinsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Fredric Kielberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hjärtum BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredric Kielberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Martinsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Birger Löv who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Per-Arne Pettersson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Stefan Mellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stefan Mellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Bromma FF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
