In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skoll's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Martinsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jörgen Finsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Skoll's supporters rose to their feet, but Bror Nordal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erland Sandström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chants of Enånger IK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Skoll had held the ball for most of the match.
