After 8 minutes of play, Forsheda's Roy Kihlman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ludvig Kjellman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jörn Giliusson struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Ludvig Kjellman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forsheda. When Roy Kihlman came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Forsheda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy Kihlman couldn't finish the play. In the 20th match minute, Djurgårdens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joacim Brandin to maneuver through the defense. Anton Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Jörn Giliusson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forsheda's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörn Giliusson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludvig Kjellman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roy Kihlman scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ludvig Kjellman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ludvig Kjellman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Giliusson in the 40th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Djurgårdens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Roy Kihlman came free, but Ludvig Kjellman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Forsheda were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Forsberg to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Edwin Vikström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agne Kling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roy Kihlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jörn Giliusson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Forsheda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Roy Kihlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludvig Kjellman having to interfere. If Edwin Vikström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Forsheda's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Forsberg came free, but Agne Kling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Niklas Blanck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ludvig Kjellman. The goal made the score 0-3. When Jörn Giliusson came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Forsheda fans jumped to their feet.
