Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Linus Ström kicked off to start the match. Jan-Åke Ekman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mårten Hult got free with Jan-Åke Ekman in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Calle Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Bergfeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Åke Ekman was a little too slow when Mårten Hult got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Vansbro's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Ekman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Axelsson. Mårten Hult sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vansbro's Jan-Åke Ekman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Ström in the 30th minute of play. A hard shot 32 in the game by Mårten Hult from a close distance when the talented Jan-Åke Ekman managed to make a qualified save. Vansbro's players were relieved. Vansbro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gunnar Åkesson in the 37th minute. It was a well-played corner which Martin Simonsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a defensive mix-up in Örviken IK's zone, Mårten Blomquist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kennet Ahlstedt came out of the goal and Mårten Blomquist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vansbro's Martin Simonsson pulled a muscle in his back after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Jan Axelsson charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Axelsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jan Axelsson hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Mårten Blomquist struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Kennet Ahlstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vansbro. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mårten Blomquist was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Vansbro's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Vibjörnsson came free, but Jan-Åke Ekman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Örviken IK's Linus Ström got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mårten Hult sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mårten Blomquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Kennet Ahlstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Linus Ström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mårten Blomquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Kennet Ahlstedt made a huge save. Kennet Ahlstedt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mårten Blomquist went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 84th minute of the match Harry Wiberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Åke Ekman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vansbro's Mårten Blomquist got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mårten Hult scored 2-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Åke Ekman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mårten Blomquist got free with Kennet Ahlstedt in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
